Square root LWL in ft X 1.34 = Estimated hull speed. Passage distance / Estimated hull speed = Estimated hours underway. For coastal passages 12 hours per day. ( when operating a vessel short handed it is policy to anchor overnight ) For ocean passages 24 hours per day. Round up hours to full days ie. ( 14 hours coastal is 2 days ).
Add airfare and travel expenses. Add $ 100.00 per
diem unused funds refunded at end of passage, receipts will be provided
for used Prior to departure proof of vessel insurance must be provided. Prior to departure
a letter of authorization for operation of the vessel must be
provided. Any required
maintenance to be conducted by contractors will be quoted and authorized
by the owner Laydays or days
not underway due to maintenance will be charged at full sea rate, laydays
due to weather |
